Ingredients:

1 2 pkg yeast

2 2 cups warm water 110°

3 4 cups flour

4 1 cup cornmeal

5 4 Tbsp vegetable oil

6 2 tsp sugar

7 1 tsp salt

Sauce

1 1 (8oz) can tomato sauce

2 1/2 tsp salt

3 1/4 cup onion finely chopped

4 1/2 tsp garlic powder

5 2 tsp dried oregano

6 Pepper to taste

Instructions:

1 Preheat oven to 425°.

2 In a large mixing bowl dissolve yeast in warm water. Add in remaining ingredients and mix well. Allow to rest 5 minutes.

3 Place half of the dough on lightly greased 12" pizza pans and spread to shape with floured fingers. Bake crusts for approximately 5 minutes until lightly browned.

4 Spread on sauce cheese and toppings then bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes

Topping ideas: shredded mozzarella, Parmesan or Romano cheese, precooked ground beef or sausage, pepperoni, bacon bits, mushrooms, green pepper, onion, black olives. Or any of your family's favorites.
